The trips from Action On Blackwater are on the Blackwater River one of the most beautiful canoe trails you will find anywhere. Blackwater is the purest river in the state of Florida and is listed fourth purest in the United States. The tea-colored waters flow down through the State Forest past pristine white sandbars that are surrounded by cedar, cypress, juniper and pine trees.
The average depth of the river is 2 to 3 feet with some deep eddies. The sparkling white sands of Blackwater River provide fantastic sparkling white sandbars that will invite you to sit back relax and enjoy a picnic.
